Kristen Anastasi

I am so happy that you are here!

My name is Kristen Anastasi and I am a real estate broker for House 2 Home Realty. I was born and raised in Southern Illinois and am proud to raise my daughter here as well. I am a graduate of Sesser-Valier High School, John A Logan College and Southern Illinois

University-Carbondale. I currently reside in Johnston City with my daughter, Josie, 3 dogs (Jax, Hank and Doug) and my partner Scott.

My journey in real estate (kinda) started when I was about 11 years old. This is when I first laid eyes on my first magazine that advertised local homes for sale. I would spend hours looking at all of the homes and pick several that I knew I just had to have when I grew up!

My dream world didn’t stop at home magazines...it later spilled over to the Sears & Roebuck catalog where I would pick out the perfect curtains and bed linens for my “new house.” My fascination with creating my future was later replaced with Joey McIntyre, loads of neon and teased bangs higher than the Empire State Building. Ahh, the 90’s!

I spent the first 15 years of my career as an educator/human services caseworker. While I

thoroughly enjoyed these careers, I needed more. My “official” journey in real estate began in 2022. After my father tragically died, I found myself unable to sleep at night and tried to find something productive to do with my newfound sleeplessness. I decided to take the leap and enroll in real estate courses that I had been putting off. In September of 2022, I joined House 2 Home Realty. I had always admired Celia Robertson (House 2 Home Managing Broker) and her ability to reach people from all different walks of life, so I knew it was a perfect fit for me. The rest is history!

After a year of real estate under my belt, I have discovered my true passion....helping my clients achieve their goals, whatever they may be. As a buyer’s agent, I have witnessed a mother cry after receiving the keys to her very own home. As a listing agent, I have witnessed a family sell their mother’s home after she passed away. As a commercial agent, I have witnessed a dear friend walk through the doors of a new business that she will eventually pass down to her children. Every client is different and I pride myself on taking the time to get to know each and every one of them, what they need from me and develop a plan to make that happen.

I am so fortunate to be able to share these life experiences with my clients. I believe that there is always a solution to every problem and welcome the challenge to find it.

If you have any questions regarding real estate, are looking to buy/sell or just want someone to help you make sense of the process, please reach out to me...I would love to help!

-Kristen
